The Van Doren Rubber Company, better known as Vans, is a US skate shoe factory founded on March 16, 1966 by Paul Van Doren, Gordon C. Lee, James Van Doren and Serge D'Elia. Starting in 2012, he also began producing other clothing items in the field of skateboarding.
